G7 Ambassadors (Ukraine Support Group) met Justice Minister Pavlo Petrenko

On October 28, 2016 Ambassador of Japan Shigeki Sumi, as chair of the G7 Ambassadors' Support Group for Ukraine, together with other G7 ambassadors, visited the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and held a meeting with Justice Minister Pavlo Petrenko.

Minister Petrenko explained the situation with the illegal seizure of UTEM-Engineering LLC which is undertaking construction of the Interim Spent Nuclear Fuel Dry Storage Facility (ISF-2) using funds contributed by the international community. Speaking on behalf of G7, Ambassador Sumi voiced concern about this issue and asked the Government of Ukraine to take appropriate measures.
