The United States fulfills the commitment by continuing its active role in the reconstruction of Bosnia. For example,

• US has promised technical assistance to help set up the Central Bank & other governmental systems such as the Council of Ministers.

• US and its allies worked with the then newly-elected collective Presidency to identify key priorities for the 1997 implementation program during the Peace Implementation Council Steering Board ministerial meeting (Nov. 13, 1996).
