"Indonesia Bailout Endorsed"

In a predictable move, British Prime Minister Tony Blair has endorsed the IMF-sponsored bailout package for Indonesia. Each of the eight countries have already more or less supported the economic endeavour of April 24th. While speaking with Ryutaro Hashimoto in a bilateral meeting prior to the official start of the summit, Blair talked about the Asian economic crisis. Lessons learned from Indonesia's financial crisis include the need for good governance and transparency, says a British government spokesman.
