To maintain its effectiveness through the production of high-quality, independent analysis and research, the Research Group supports its operations from general and project-specific financial and in-kind contributions from many individuals and organizations in the government, academic-research, private sector and NGO communities. With modest ongoing revenues, it relies heavily on in-kind support from the Robarts Library, Trinity College's John W. Graham Library, the Centre for International Studies, the International Relations Program and the Department of Political Science at the University of Toronto, as well as the contributions of its students, alumni/ae, members and friends. It also receives support from project-specific research grants and conference sponsorships.
The Research Group is grateful to the many individuals who respond to its annual appeals to increase the value of the G8 Research Group and the Robert H. Catherwood Scholarship Endowment Funds and who donate to its specific projects.
The Research Group acknowledges with thanks the many organizations that have contributed in recent years. These include Canada's Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, the Japanese government's Foundation for Advanced Studies in International Development, the U.S. State Department, Nortel Networks, Clifford Chance, Siemens, eCollege.com, Sony, National Post, Toronto Star and several universities.
To make a tax-deductible donation to the G8 Research Group or the Robert H. Catherwood Scholarship Endowment Funds, or to one of the Research Group's many projects, please contact Sandra Larmour, Director of Development, G8 Research Group; Karen Hamilton, Development Office, Trinity College; or Professor John Kirton, Director.
