Agora to Produce G8 Summit Publication 2007

Agora and Newsdesk Communications, in association with the University of Toronto G8 Research Group, will produce a substantive, high-quality publication for distribution at the 2007 G8 Summit at Heiligendamm, and at key international policy gatherings in the run-up to the summit as well as after it.

Like its predecessor volumes produced for the 2005 Gleneagles Summit and the 2006 St. Petersburg Summit, the 2007 publication will present a comprehensive overview of the main agenda items for the Heiligendamm Summit, with perspectives from an outstanding cast of high-level editorial contributors from politics, business, the international agencies, academia and the media. Issues to be covered include the management of globalization, environment and climate change, energy security, and human development, with a focus on Africa.
