2005 Catherwood Scholarship Winners Announced

Congratulations to Vanessa Corlazzoli and Wynne Lawrence, winners of the 2004 Robert H. Catherwood Scholarship awarded to fourth-year students of International Relations at the University of Toronto.

Bob Catherwood was the voice of Canada's Financial Post, now known the National Post. It was thanks to his vision and genuine interest in educating young people that he was prepared to accredit members of the G8 Research Group as Canadian journalists for the 1988 Toronto summit — and for every summit thereafter. He staked his own and The Post's reputation on the conviction that these undergraduate and graduate students could hold their own with some of the best journalists in the world. He made it possible for young students to witness world politics unfold at the highest level.
